Who Was Miriam
Miriam Mintz was a master special educator who devoted her professional life to helping children who needed more than a traditional classroom could offer. She didn't seek recognition. She simply wanted to do her job well—and she did. Quietly, consistently, and with total dedication. She never had children of her own. But her life revolved around them. And this library ensures that what she gave so many—structure, confidence, love of learning—will continue for generations to come.
